TAGHAZZUL MOKO

1. A ghazal is a soul at bay, with no way out.

2. A shard is a pair of strings that stands intact.

3. All strings show similar rhythm and width, but not import.

4. A hand's count to two hands' plus two of shards.

5. First shard is conjunct; and following that, only its tail.

6. A word or words again, always follows a shard's link.

7. Who wrought this song is said in its final shard.

8. A ghazal, though short, is not flippant; stormy at sundown.

9. Taghazzul is its uncanny quality of calling up distant ghazals.

10. An unruly ghazal, but with taghazzul, is still a ghazal.
