14. "Springtime in New York"

We did not visit the site. To live it all, again,
Not knowing any whose fate was never to call again?

Some think we ought to build them right back up
And let more suns fling out that double pall again:

Or leave two holes inside one higher tower,
The better to make our vivid loss appall again...

Or put the search lights back, whose eerie pillars
Showed to the world America "stood tall" again...

No new-commissioned monument with names
But forgetfulness will drape in the white long haul, again.

My raven says the Cracked Sphere might just fit,
If you give peace the chance of its strayed snowball again.
