he wanders a wyvern way
that treads with fractal yaw
the turquoise field of a hundred steps
& nowhere-view

enough if there were bourne to reach
or finitude of term
not only mine the war
not only sky this storm

i know i will remain
through even voting-day shenanigans,
Groundhog Day return & battery drain
& Godzilla chine that stuns
